Arthrograms

An arthrogram is a special X-ray procedure where contrast medium (a dye) is injected into your joint and X-ray pictures are then taken. You will then go to CT or MRI for further scans of the joint.

Diagnostic joint/soft tissue injections

A diagnostic injection is an injection of local anaesthetic +/-steroid within a joint or around a soft tissue structure. In some case your treating physician might not be certain about the origin of pain. This injection will provide useful information about the origin of pain based on your immediate and long term pain response.
